New labeling requirement

Personal computers and computer equipment sold in Thailand will require labels in Thai starting right away. This affects manufacturers, importers, and sellers.

Types of equipment that require Thai labels are desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, and servers, unless they are solely for export.

The information required to be in Thai is as follows:

• Product type and features (screen size, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, OS)
• Manufacturer and seller names (registered in Thailand)
• Country of origin (if not Thailand)
• Seller/importer local address
• Recommendations for use and storage
• Production date and future production/spare parts disclaimer
• Warranty period and spare parts availability
• Service center phone number (or "No service center in Thailand" note)
