TEC has announced Phase V of Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment

TEC has announced Phase V of Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment.

TEC will start accepting applications on MTCTE portal starting 01 July 2023.
Certification becomes mandatory on 01 July 2024.

List of Proposed Products
1. Base Station for cellular Network for 5G
2. 5G core
3. Hypervisor
4. E- Band Fixed Radio Relay Systems
5. Coverage Multi Service Application Access Equipment (C-MSAAE)
6. IP Terminal
7. Hybrid Set Top Box

TEC will accept ILAC Test reports until 30 June 2024 from non-border sharing countries for the following products: Base Station for cellular Network for 5G, 5G core, Hypervisor and E- Band Fixed Radio Relay Systems. These test reports must be no older than two years for technical parameters from the date of submission of application
For Products such as Coverage Multi Service Application Access Equipment (C-MSAAE), IP Terminal, Hybrid Set Top Box, TEC will accept test reports from its designated labs only.
