SUTEL Approval

SUTEL (Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones) is the regulatory authority for telecommunications in Costa Rica. Products that utilize Radio Frequency and Cellular technologies require approval and certification to import and sell in Costa Rica. Approval in some cases requires in-country testing. We typically need (3) samples and will assist with the importation of samples. International test reports for the homologation of certain types of devices can be used in the place of in-country testing.
