Conatel approves technical standard ntc-t-imt:2023 on conformity assessment for mobile devices

The Comision Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) has published Resolution No. 3171 to approve Technical Standard NTC-T-IMT:2023 on Conformity Assessment for mobile devices.

This new technical standard establishes essential requirements such as power limits, non-essential emissions, out-of-band emissions, and network stability. It also outlines specific requirements that the mobile device(2G-5G) should follow. This includes compliance with technical requirements and electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety and assessment of human exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic field.
