MOIAT updates national conformity marks and performance labels

On September 16, 2024, The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) issued an important update on national conformity marks and performance labels through Ministerial Resolution No. 137 of 2024. This resolution introduces new national conformity marks and performance labels for certifying product compliance in the United Arab Emirates.

MOIAT has established the following timelines to ensure a smooth transition.

Existing Products: Products already in the local market must comply with the new requirements by September 14, 2025.

New Products: All new products entering the UAE market must adhere to the updated standards by March 15, 2025, which is 6 months from the resolution's publication date.

The new logo for ECAS LVE (IT/Audio products) is the Compliant mark, as shown below.
