Assessment in China
The CCC Mark In 2002 China's CCIB and CCEE marks were merged to form the Compulsory Product Certification
Scheme (CPCS) -- or CCC mark. The list of equipment requiring
certification is specified in the document First Catalogue of
Products Subject to Compulsory Certification (below). These product categories correspond to harmonized tariff codes. Please contact us for help with determining whether your products require the CCC mark.
Application for the CCC mark certification
is a rigorous process that includes laboratory
testing as well as factory audit. Regular follow-up inspections will be
required to maintain the certification.
Safety testing for the CCC mark must be
conducted in-country by accredited laboratories. ITE must comply with the Chinese standard
, based on IEC-950. Although China participates in the CB Scheme, existing test reports to
IEC-950 or equivalent standards will not eliminate the need for in-country testing.
